My FM9 2 year waitlist email hit my inbox in the middle of the night about 5 days ago! I think it took all of 4 minutes to complete the buy! It is the best piece of gear I've ever owned.

Alway have been a tube an board guy, I decided to plunge into the modeler world. I bought the Helix and hated it. A year later I thought why not, mainly as a backup and for smaller gigs, I plunged into the Fractal world and purchased the FM9. Right out of the box I noticed this was special, ready to use. Almost 6 months into it I use this exclusively always learning something new on it. Consistant incredible tone is key, always learning from the tubers that fit my style. Kingman, Fanton, Cooper and this channel provide great insights, thank you. The stamp of acceptance was 7 nights in row at Sloppy Joes Key West Florida over 4th of July with my band, on another venues PA and soundman this unit performed flawlessly. Great piece of gear!

Been eyeing this up for a while now. I just put myself on the wait list the other night. How do you think this would hold up for studio use? I've been thinking about getting the axe FX III, but I'd love something I can take with me on the go and the FM9 seems like the perfect solution.

Hi, for someone who is coming from a Yamaha thrii, would the Axe FX 3 be a better purchase than the FM9, Quad-core, or Helix Line 6? It will primarily (if not completely ) used for recording tracks at home and want a great tonal pallet. I know these are expensive options, but I am purchasing one of them and don't want to feel like I should have got the other. I know this is subjective, but you seem to be versed in all of these modelers and would love to hear your opinion. Thanks!

Can you please tell me how to quickly access the controls of a Fractal Stomp pedal (i.e.overdrive) without having to go through menus on the units screen. With helix, I just touch the switch and the pedals control's shows up on the screen. On the FM9, I had to scroll, and there is no time for that when playing live. Thanks

Very good video, as always! Question: when you are playing with an actual amp, do you like using traditional stomp boxes (overdrives, effects, etc.)?

How are you enjoying the FM9 this far in? I'm rocking a Helix LT at the moment and I'm not displeased, but I've had more issues than anything and Fractal seems to have the better PC editor. Worst part is the scalpers though. Can you speak to current wait-list times?

Dang, really not impressed with the sound quality… I was hoping for something a little more passable for an amp.

All that thick clear plexi can cause heat to build up. That does not help the life of electronics. Just don't drop your drink or dumbbell on it and you will be fine. Over time, it will still lose value even if it's in great condition. Ironically, those little magnets will mar the surface over time for sure.

So how are you liking your FM9. Curious to hear your thoughts compared to your AxFXIII. I don't think there are many sacrifices. Def. a better value and convenient all-in-one solution. For most of us, it is currently the ultimate modeler.
