It is possible those islands were not ALWAYS islands but the tops of mountains. If you look at the underwater topography there appears to be a great evidence of river valleys and water erosion such as "dry" waterfalls.

I find it interesting that you talk about giants with advanced technology while depicting them as bent over primitives living in caves! Also interesting is the fact that giants bones (only giants - immensely old regular skeletons don't turn to dust or disappear) always go missing or mysteriously turn to dust! Genesis 6 answers this nicely. It is sad that every single cache of giant bones (10 - 15 feet tall) found and submitted to universities around the world this last 100+ years for study have all been "mysteriously lost" very soon afterwards.

I used to squid fish in Southern California so I actually got a chance to walk around on a couple of the channel islands. I've spent days right off the shore anchored up, checking out the island in binoculars. I remember Government employees and a-lot of college kids doing archaeology stuff. they were driving around old school hum-vies and a couple of the island are massive and pretty much a hot desert. I spent one whole day just exploring Santa Cruz. it has a dock you can tie up too but not many people visit from what I could tell. the place has a strange vibe, and definitely a deserted feel to it. a couple roads went a long way down the island, through a bunch of rolling hills. it really doesn't feel like it belongs their. the landscape is noticeable different front the main land just a few miles away. all and all I will never forget the place. just seems weird.

I have zero issue with the idea of ancient “giants” because it just makes sense. Both dwarfism and gigantism exist in modern humans, although rare, so it’s entirely possibly that these traits at some point in time could have been more prevalent and even passed down, especially in an isolated breeding environment with lower genetic diversity. Andre The Giant, the wrestler, had extra teeth as well.

Ask the Smithsonian Institute about the giant skeletons. There's been hundreds of stories where someone finds one and they come in and claim it. Or destroy it. The great global flood killed them all, and everyone else that wasn't on the arc. Animals included.

I wake up everyday (if clear) seeing Catalina Island (Oceanside, CA) had no clue about any of this. How cool, makes sense, San Diego - Santa Barba is a gnarly hotspot for ufo sightings, mainly near land or on the horizon sightings, Lol years back a "missile test launched rocket" randomly filled the dusk sky one evening, was like a giant ghostly jellyfish from another world! Thing filled the sky & had the entire city shitting itself, look it up yourself: "san diego test rocket fills evening sky" ? It was wild

Interesting. Given that I can see Catalina from my home in Newport Beach, I need to look more into this. Have been there many times, but had no idea about possible giants living there at some point. LOL
