My husband proposed to me in a cemetery. At my parents' resting place. He wanted to get "their blessing". It might seem weird to some but I loved it.

"I have crossed oceans of time to find you ..." Oh Gary Oldman, you're an artist! ❤

Old English cemetery’s are just full of history like stepping back in time … the history of England and the uk is incredible ❤

This cemetery is hauntingly beautiful. My Mother always use to tell me that cemeteries were the safest place to be.

Fun fact: Gary Oldman took the role of Dracula solely because he got to say the line “I’ve crossed oceans of times to find you” ooooh chills frfr 😊

I love cemeteries. They are so peaceful and serene. When I travel somewhere, I will look for cemeteries nearby to check out. They hold memory and history, and the older the better

Those walkways arent grave stones repurposed, theyre actually graves where people are buried! The ones inside are the same, people buried into the foundations. Isnt that so cool? The cemetery in our town has a number of unique and interesting graves you guys might love to see and the church itself is gorgeous.

The decorations on the vampire headstone along with the 2 names reminded me of this line in a Leonard Cohen song. "And when we fell together all our flesh was like a veil
That I had to draw aside to see
The serpent eat its tail."

If he committed suicide he would not be buried in consecrated grounds he would by tradition be buried outside the church boundaries in consecrated grounds as suicide was considered a sin

That was your sweetest video ever. I LOVE the pledges at the end. You two are meant for each other.

When you all leave the front doors of the closed church, the gravestone you pass in the graveyard with the shaking hands is an Odd Fellows grave. The placement of the fingers is purposeful.

My safe place is my local cemetery that was opened in 1838 & is, to my knowledge, the final resting place of approximately 4, 000 people. I have spent many a night there when I just couldn't sleep in my own bed for whatever reason & have gone there (it's like literally a 30 minute walk away), set up a small fire in a quiet corner & just savored the peace & sheer tranquility. I've even made "friends" with a fox who, over many many months, has grown a level of trust in me where she has introduced me to her cubs. I digress. I have genuinely felt safer in the cemetery at 3am than I have EVER felt walking thru the center of town at noon!! Thank you so much for sharing this. You both have a level of respect that is refreshing & I value the way you do some research into the places you visit that reflects in your commentary because it helps foster a better appreciation of what you're sharing than just seeing it.

Did a little research: A skull with bat wings in a church monument could symbolize rebirth after death, with the skull representing death and the bat wing representing rebirth. The skull is usually depicted with feathered wings, which is a traditional medieval symbol that refers to both the inevitable and the re-creating element of death: the soul that flies to heaven. However, bat wings have a fleece, not feathers, which would have a more grim connotation. GREAT video!!

I told my husband a long time ago, I too said, if any of us get bitten the apocalypse zombies or of a creature Vampires we get bitten together… with a pinky promise this was on 2014 when we first met my friends. Happy Halloween 🎃🖤💚🎃

That walkway is absolutely stunning and the lore in the UK is just the best. You always seem to find the most unique stories in the world, another amazing video.

I love that skull seal atop the tombstone. If one or both of the grave's occupants are vampires, the heavy slab could be designed to seal them in.

That cemetery is EXACTLY what you picture in your mind when you think Halloween or haunted cemetery. NEAT.
