Your chances are better with one stimulated IVF cycle than three or four cycles of natural cycle IVF.

As Dr. Stephen Greenhouse of Shady Grove Fertility’s Fair Oaks, VA, office describes, natural cycle IVF may sounds like a less stressful, less costly, and less risky treatment option, but the truth is that success rates tend to be very low, which for this treatment, which ultimately drives up the cost and stress associated with this type of fertility treatment.

Not all women choose to risk the possible side effects of stimulated IVF given their medical history. Natural IVF may be a safer option for women with certain medical conditions or strong family history of hormone based cancers. The stress of stimulated IVF iis NOT just related to the "stress of injecting needles", it can also be related to the fear of possible medical complications or other long term health risks that may be associated with ovarian stimulation. It angers me that the Dr. did not even address this in the interview.

It's one thing to lay out your opinion but presuming the opinions and subsequent decisions someone has concerning their body is, to say the least, unnecessary. I'll pass on this guy assuming my medical decisions let alone preforming any procedures on my body. Someone that drunk with power is carless and ought to be automatically dismissed.
