Ok, so being interested in TRUTH and wise instruction, knowing, observing, learning, adhering to same, Bible and the Didache are where I began. Perhaps I could learn and grow through fellowship with more like-minded believers such as I perceive you to be. May GOD bless you as you illuminate HIS TRUTH.

The spirit of the Bruderhof way of life reminds me of the Suscipe of St. Ignatius de Loyola:

Take, Lord, and receive all my liberty, my memory, my understanding, my entire will – all that I have and call my own. You have given it all to me. To you, Lord, I return it. Everything is yours: do with it what you will. Give me only your love and your grace. That is enough for me.

Like many extracts from scripture, we can miss the small details through over-familiarity. Note the use of the word 'find' in the quotation. This implies we must be active in our searching for the way of life, both in finding the gate and keeping to the path. The metaphor implies a journey. Every journey has a start, a route and a destination. Stagnate, and the journey stops.

There are two the Christian Hymnary. It's a really great can't decide if you are liberal or conservative. You are just askew.
