I think Gatlin has been well trained by the previous CEO. Riocan is well positioned to get back to where it was in 2019/2020 pre covid. I'll start trimming my holding once it gets to where it belongs. I wish I gobbled up even more the I did in 2020. Look a like you did well picking it up during the crash.

Would really enjoy a NWH review!! Especially a comment on how they finance their dividend as there payout ratio is much higher than other reits
- their financing methods; convertible debentures keeping their stock price seeming locked in at around 13$ for the past 5 years

I sold all my REI.UN today as it seems to be dead money and tired of waiting for a raise in the dividend. I’m thinking it will drop in 2023 and may buy it again if I get it below $17.50

Commercial rents are almost always in multi year fixed rents. On renewal these rents could fall with the recession. Vacancy will rise. Tenant defaults will increase. Operating costs will increase with inflation. Perfect storm for REITS to crash. REITS may have to call cash to cover cash flow.
