【Cooking for my family】6-course meal, 30th wedding anniversary, easy asian recipes | Tiffycooks Vlog

Welcome to episode 2 of Before 30! It's my parent’s 30th wedding anniversary, so I thought it would be fun to surprise them with a mini getaway trip to Whistler and make them a 6-course home-cooked meal! 🥰

On the menu, we have sticky pork belly, tea eggs, stuffed chicken wings, pan-fried shrimp, and Taiwanese pork chops. Food has always been my family’s love language, so to celebrate their love, I thought there was no better way to express my appreciation for them than to cook a delicious meal.

I love that in Asian culture, love is shown through actions because actions speak louder than words. In Western culture, the words "I love you" are used so loosely but it is rarely shown. What a blessing, your dad staying in Taiwan alone to support his family, warmed and broke my heart. I love that you respect and honor your parents. The food looked amazing too!
