This is a really well put together demo especially for a noob like me. I love how you've included a lot of the features which might not normally be covered in an intro video. Thank you.

Probably one of the most effective Garageband tutorials I've ever seen. My gosh why aren't they all like this. I can't describe why it's more effective. But we really get to see him start from scratch and then use all of the most essential features without getting into anything overly trivial.

For me, the best part was the sample delay panning the percussion. Really bedded it in and made it sound lovely and polished! Helpful tip that, as I some times struggle to get the sounds integrated.

A really useful and well explained Garageband tutorial. Presentation becomes just a bit too quick and content-laden from about 31 minutes for me, a newcomer to the software, but it is all there and easy to replay. A lot more intelligent than some of the other YouTube videos on the same topic. Many thanks for this video. Very clear indeed. :)

The "sweet spot" mixing technique is a game-changer. I never thought to do that "live" while my track played.

Just needed a drop and reversed cymbal crash but that’s it. It’s hot! Love the drum break!

How do you play the chords? Simple for you, not clear at all to me.

I just wanna say I used to use FL studio on windows to compose songs for years but then decided to switch to Mac because of the music producing culture on Mac. Tried out many programs and just couldn’t make a song so I lost interest until I watched this video and now I have just finished producing my first song in 5 years. So thank you.

December 2024, and this video is top-tier even after 6 years of its original posting. I have both GB and Logic, but I am always interested in the basic concepts first.

Not basic enough for me...what’s a midi controller? Is that a keyboard?

By far the best teacher on YT! So good I'm truly annoyed I can't donate, to him personally, some money for this lesson!!!
