Every man and his dog have had a crack at this one. Normie nailed it best for mine. Oh for those wonderful days of the 60's.

Normie needs to do a remake of this as we are now all older, "Aching all over"

I come back here week after week - since childhood - just for those amazing drum riffs. ASTOUNDING that this was recorded on a lousy four track. Killer rock from down under!

Looked this up while watching a Vietnam war doco and heard the song. What a beautiful looking young man he was!

Love this song! Also appears on the intro of the first episode of Season 2 of Underbelly: A Tale of Two Cities!

I remember feeling a little underwhelmed when I first heard the Johnny Kidd version- the Australians always did a great fuzzy guitar and strong bass/drum back line. Thanks, Normie & the Playboys! (PS, Led Zepplin do a rather good version - check out the bootlegs from 1971-3)

Great version of Johnny Kidd's classic rocker! AND who was the guitarist? - brilliant! esp the 'variation' he used twice and Normie 'creases up'!!!

From Dusk to Dawn's title scene with Salma Halyek snake-dancing I think was borrowed from this tune.

One very cute Normie. Trying to remember what year he had this hit - '65 or '66

Used to love him. Saw him at Singapore airport in the 60s. Nearly died. Lol.

Perhaps the Justin Bieber of the 1960s.
