Ashwin is interaction designer. His idea is to connect social network experience to the product design.

Objects have a charm and natural interactivity missing in most current digital technology. We now have the possibility of fashioning our own physical objects with interesting new 'networked' properties. Here he uses three everyday objects to discuss ways of thinking about how we might put digital back into the physical.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

Brief and with regard to case. Like the way you push for practical technology use, avoiding online procrastination. In addition, agree that human interaction with network should be tailored to one's needs without turning into an informational waste deposit. When the apps are linked to objects, it is about magic!

Ashwin, absolutely great ideas and I hope you get the chance to look at geographies where lack of infrastructure, technology and funds, anyhow forces people to use the 'ordinary' to create the extraordinary and further could benefit from ideas such as yours....contd...
