It is my understanding that any lifepo4 battery should be charged with (the correct amperage) lifepo4 battery charger. This could mean only one thing, the charging system on the mower is not "compatible" with the lifepo4 chemistry. Could the mower charging system damage that lifepo4 battery? What say you? Cheers!

Just swapped one in my riding mower and firt time out got about 20 min out of it and then under load of the blades. It would start chugging. Thought I had a fuel issue. Went thru all of that took about an hr. Fired up no issues. Again 20 min in it started chugging again only under blade load. Was not considering the battery as I have not had a good battery for years. Just jumped it with lithium jump box and went on my way and kept it with me. We'll swapped the only battery out and jumped it and bam 0 issues. Tossed lithium back In and bamn chugging. It's as is the controller disconnected the battery after it's fully charger or hot and the electrical system didn't like it.

I routinely test batteries for aircraft.. and I can tell you that those yellow Weize batteries are absolute hot garbage. I went through two of them and neither meet the spec printed on the label. The Ah rating is a lie, and probably the cranking rating too. They consistently get bad reviews and what Weize does it switch the product SKU to another battery sub type so it drowns the bad reviews. They also use different SKU's for that battery once it gets lots of bad reviews. I would stay away from this brand. Re-posting since my prior comment didn't make it for some reason.

I had some LifePo4 batteries 15 years ago in my Priuses no problem for the 5 years that I owned them. Now I am driving a Tesla.
