Darkroom Printing Color Negatives - Portraits on Portra 160

I have been doing lots of home darkroom printing using various 35mm film stocks. Finally, I have printed some Kodak Portra 160, which is supposed to be one of the best 35mm film stocks for color fidelity. Darkroom printing can be challenging especially when printing color; does Portra make it easy to nail down colors and achieve the desired look? For this video i show you how I print a portrait taken on 35mm Portra 160.

Check me out on social media!

That final print looks beautiful, man. This was awesome. Never had the chance to print color in the darkroom.

Stumbled onto you channel after browsing the Darkroom Reddit, and I'm so impressed. Not that many people on Youtube are covering the RA-4 process in depth like you are, and I love seeing color in the dark room. You've inspired me to buy my own darkroom setup, and all the stuff should be coming in early next week :) (Good to see Matt Day here too ;))

Nice work buddy. Did you jump right in to printing colour or have you got experience with B&W?

Fuego 🔥. I have been printing black and white in my home darkroom for now but I am working out how/if I will approach color in my space. What is your ventilation set up in your bathroom? Are you using room temperature chemicals? Also, what’s your opinion on that jobo drum and hand processing unit you’re using?

Noticed you place wet prints on the glass ... I take it they just stick, and after you've wiped down the front and that dried a little, can then transfer to hang for full dry? (Assuming for final prints, that is. I'd imagine test prints are just tossed while wet?)

Where do you get your RA4 chemicals from?

Sincerely I love my old negative in the cheap old Kodak Gold 200. Portra seems too much... digital for me.
