I do not pretend to be an expert so let me say I love the look of this project and my one concern would be the one where the grain of the "J" leg runs vertically across the curve - a common problem with Cabriole legs. Using a pine with wider softer grain makes these legs highly susceptible to failure through cracking from weight and moisture content changes. That said, having three of them in different directions lessens the chances of failure.

Brilliant Build. I defiantly prefer this type of video to your live ones.
Anyway again a Brilliant Build and hope that you use this as your centre piece for your Christmas Dinner.

Neat, my mum's family HAD something similar to it in looks and function, but with drop in leaves and a sliding metal frame. We did table top RPGs and warhammer on it.

Nice looking table! Love the J shape legs! One question: since the J shape legs are cut, not bend, will the curved part wood have enough strength to hold the weight of the table?

Nice Job Jamison. Where do you store that thing? Been following your blog for a while. Glad to see the videos and love how you interact with your kids. Keep up the good work Dad, the time when they are little goes way to fast. (Yea I'm old and a grandpa.)

It's been almost five years. Has the top split with the "breadboard" ends attached as they are?

Did I miss where you mentioned what type of wood you used?

Nice video and nice design, especially if it was early on for you. However, I can’t seem to get the links for PDFs in your webpage for several of your plans to work. They take me to a LeadPages error page that says link does not work or page has been moved. Is there another way to get them?

nice leg design. i wonder if that can be replicated with bent lamination with a hard wood.

I downloaded the PDF, but it does not include the J-Leg pattern. Where can I find that?

How did the bench top bandsaw hold up? I know that's about it's cutting capacity. Did it bog down?

What was the cut of each stain you used 50 to 50 or more of one than the other
