If the shift started at 7am and the knew flooding was possible then when the water was pooling at 10:35 they should have shut down and sent everyone home. Sounds good, but something doesn't jive. How could he be one of the last to leave, and there were still employees trapped? Were they waiting on a ride? Deserves more investigation.

When a company makes a statement you need to read their words carefully. For example, he says, “Employees were directed to leave the facility….”. What he does not say is how many employees were on site that day, how they were told (were they all gathered in one area and there was a verbal announcement made to everyone at the same time, were they located in separate locations throughout the building(s), ) and how many of the employees were told the announcement at the time you allege that you made the statement?). If a company has a well-organized emergency plan it shouldn’t be too hard to say how many announcements were made, how many people were covered by each announcement, and what time, exactly, each announcement was made.
