'Breaking In' LSXcalade's New Engine and Ironing Out Some Issues (Twin Turbo Escalade ESV)

For some reason this thing has been giving us fits ever since the first day AFTER we fired it up... Messing with the tune for more time than id like to admit we finally got it sorted out. During that process we show you some of what's going on and what settings I am changing in the tune! After that, we head to the gas station for its first "at the pump" E85 fill up since October 2020! Then we proceed to make sure it all works by doing a flame throwing burnout!

The behind scenes technical problems are what kills so many projects, people think it's only them or don't understand how to troubleshoot it. Understanding how everything works together like the IAC values and explaining it what sets people like you and Brent apart from everyone else. I definitely enjoy all your content you and Logan are legitimately awesome!!!

I honestly enjoy watching this stuff because it's real life. Not everything is sunshine and rainbows.

Not only the flames out the exhaust, but I caught a flame in front of the front tire exactly at 9:38.. go back a few seconds to get ready. Awesome!

Logan's "Damn!" Spoken with a wicked amount of 'WOAH' included. Awesome! Love the Channel guys.

I enjoy the tuning details. I know so very little about it, so the more knowledge the better. And the best way to "celebrate" getting a project running is with some tire smoke.

I'd love to see the Escalade do an all-wheel drive burnout, that would be entertaining.

I took a vacation from a lot of youtube and FB, I can truly say I missed you guys the most and plan on a marathon of Stapleton42 today during the Atlanta "Blizzard" or Milk, bread, and egg sale-a-thon! Morgan is such a cutie and cracks me up when I'm having a bad day so please keep her safe and warm. You both are doing a great job together, Stay Well!

Transbrake... false triggering from output shaft? Shielded cable or a sensitivity adjustment [if one is available] is one option. Bad 12v return ["dirty" connection] on a computer can mimic an RFI problem too - check that first.

You can see flame coming off of the blow off valve at 9:39 that so sick

You will get the bugs ironed out in the LSXcalade, just a matter of time. Camshaft overlap can raise hell with idle quality as well, but all things can be managed. You got this, man! Glad to see that you are getting things sorted out.
Love that smoking burnout, with pavement still smoking when you came back to pick up Logan! Badass bigtime! That is a BURNOUT.
I'm with you guys as always, many thanks to you & Logan for your great video content. That rig is gonna haul some serious ass for sure!

Nice to have the Escalade back on the channel. You have 2 of the best sounding rides on YouTube.
Flames for the win!!!

Check your abs sensors to see if there is any debris on any of them. Clean then it might help with it thinking your moving when your not.

Hell yeah, Mitchell and Logan!!! Another great video of my favorite vehicle on YouTube by far. I love the fact that you're not just "throwing things together" but actually taking the time to replace parts you wouldn't replace the first time around. Things as small as nuts and bolts but a lot bigger things as well. I was here for that too...lol...

I'm just a huge fan of the channel. From this build, the Monte and all of the cool Nascar stuff I'd love to spend a couple days just hanging down there to take it all in and experience it in person. Even though that won't happen it would be super cool.

I don't have a channel or anything, I'm just a car freak. Unfortunately I don't have the means, or the time, to pursue my greatest passion. Mostly due to my folks and my Father who has Parkinson's and Dementia. I spend my time with them and I don't do things for me. Not an option. I'm hoping a "bucket list" road trip for the things he wants to see while he can still enjoy and remember it. We can't fly so I'm looking at a car I found to take on the trip. It's cheap, reliable, easy for me to work on if need be and it's super cool with the '80s vibe!!!

I think I'll start a Go Fund Me soon to help with his dream asap. I was robbed for quite a bit of money when I looked at the last car I wanted to buy so I'm starting over with basically no cash at the moment.. I just need to get the "family truckster" cat before it's gone. Big 85 Caprice wagon pretty cheap because he knows my situation and wants to help. He's really helping a ton with the $$$.. Anyway, that's a whole other story. Sorry for rambling but I get going about my Dad and I'm super passionate about him and doing things for him.

And I'm in NO MEANS asking for any help whatsoever. Just a little background about me and my plans. Maybe if I can get this bucket list trip out together, we could stop by your shop and see the magic!!! Haha. Sorry for the novel, you two.
