Williams speech was brilliant! It truly honored the soldiers who served on Normandy beach. Well done Prince William.

I dont agree - William hasn't been dragged down here in the UK he has been elevated, we are proud of him and cherish him even more.

William went from accepting to embracing his destiny and it shows.

I did a tour of Wales with a local tour guide. She told us that he and Catherine shopped in the local stores, acted like regular people, were very friendly to the locals, and that Catherine actually was the troop leader to a local equivalent of our Boy Scouts. They fit in with the local citizens beautifully. The local residents were very impressed by both Prince William and the future Princess of Wales, Catherine.

I got goosebumps and tears listening to William speak. His beloved 'granny' the late Queen Elizabeth would be so proud 💜

One of my dear friend’s father was there on the beach. He lived until he was 103 and died about a month ago one week after his 103rd birthday. He lived alone in his home until he passed away peacefully in his sleep in his bed at home. He was totally coherent until he passed away. Truly one of the greatest generation!

Such a genuine person, a great tone to his voice. His speech was heart felt and respectful to everyone.

Queen Camilla was following the practice that you do not turn your back to the memorial when laying your tribute. She was gracefully retreating and not being disrespectful to the president's wife.

Prince William spent so much time talking to the Canadian veterans at the Juno Beach event.

I have been to Normandy, at dawn, when all the fog was rolling in and all the crosses could be seen in the swirling mist. It was the most serene and quiet place I have ever been. There was no sound, only the crosses, the mist and the beach. So haunting. Everyone should go there at least once to reflect on war and what that means.
