Always have a quick check of the bodywork and take a video. As vans are used by different drivers during the day it covers you.

Any damage on vans is on SDS so if we see something we can check and if not on SDS. We can highlight issue to manager.

I also check tyres and lights etc prior to leaving.

Do you enjoy your job? Do Tesco put BIG pressure on you to get as many delivery's done as quickly as possible?. I know someone that did this for Asda (IIRC) and the pressure placed upon him was immense. He only lasted 2 weeks and then jibbed it.

what happens if it gets damaged during your work does it come out your pay or do they cover it?

You dont show even one of the checks required before leaving the yard, no bodywork, no cameras, no lightfoot, no cab interior, no tires, no locknut indicators, no numberplates, no underbonnet, no external power plug, no side step, underbody, no lights, no equipment why not ?
