I’ll tell them “what to do right now”, make the store cleaner than it’s ever been, have managers greet customers as we walk in and thank us as we walk out, instruct every employee to speak kindly and in a welcoming tone to each customer in their respective departments. This is the time to stand out & make long lasting better and stronger relationships with customers! We aren’t going to stop buying groceries. One organic item I regularly purchase has almost doubled in price over three months, I’m buying more and using my freezer as well as monitoring sales. Grocery store owners or managers, just return to treating us like you did in the last century and you won’t regret it.
