"It's not the gear, it's the intent" This can't be more true

Joe Bonamassa is INCREDIBLE live! If you ever get the chance to see one of his shows, GO! I got to see him at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville last November, and he (along with a World Class band and road crew) absolutely blew my mind.

And he's paid his dues. He's put in the grind time on the road. He's one of the best guitarists on the planet, and should already be a household name.

Joe is absolutely correct. I've heard some incredible guitar players use a cheap guitar and amp and make it sound amazing.

Love this channel, love JB.
I've seen him play live more than a few times and was just blown away, each and every time.
I'm always mystified by the haters who put this guy down.
I can only equate it to jealousy, or maybe self loathing on their part.
Those who can, do.
Those who can't, criticize.
Joe Bonamassa is what you get when you have talent, drive, a certain gift, and most of all, a work ethic.
This guy works his ass off to accomplish and do what he does.
James Brown was reputed to be the hardest working man in show business. I will not dispute that.
Joe is like many of his ilk, of any craft, trade or occupation:he is one hell of a hard and dedicated worker.
If you look at any of the "great" guitar players, especially those of technical ability, the one thing they have most in common is that they practice, practice, practice, and practice some more.
Again, just love and respect this guy.

Just saw Joe for the 3rd time. Amazing as always. Different each time too. This time he had some brass, Reese Winans on keyboards from SRV's band and Anton Fig on drums. Go see him if you can.
