MSIA Founder John-Roger and John Morton demonstrate joy in a hilarious Moment of Peace.
How do we discover who we truly are inside? MSIA (the Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness) teaches Soul Transcendence — becoming aware of yourself as a Soul and as one with God, not as a theory but as a living reality. Your Soul is who you truly are; it is more than your body, your thoughts, or your feelings. It is the highest aspect of yourself, where you and God are one.
MSIA offers an approach that focuses on how to incorporate spirituality into our everyday life in a tangible, workable way. We call it “practical spirituality.” It’s using everything in our life to expand and grow in a way that allows us to relate to the world from the inside out, from our loving center, and to explore the nature of our true essence as a Soul.
For over 50 years, MSIA founder John-Roger devoted his life to being a Wayshower for others to find Spirit within themselves and demonstrate how to live life in greater loving, happiness, and peace. J-R’s humor, joy, and unconditional loving embraced and touched people around the planet. His good works continue on, guiding those studying the path of Soul Transcendence.
John Morton inspires and educates people around the world on the teachings of the spiritual heart and recognizing the blessings in all situations. He serves as Spiritual Director of MSIA, anchors the Mystical Traveler Consciousness and guides those on the path of Soul Transcendence. John is an accomplished author, masterful facilitator, and loving friend to all.

J-R: Ooh, I think you just tuned into what we are going to be talking about today, we’ll see.
Q: I want to know if there is a way that I can develop a connection or a faith in God?
J-R: I don’t know how anybody in this room can experience God for themselves. See you asked a wrong question. You gotta ask a dummy question. Let me help you. Is there a way I can experience God for myself? Is really a question that can be answered.
Q: OK. So is there a way that I can experience…?
J-R: Oh, I’m glad you asked. JM will answer that.
JM: Yes.
J-R: There’s your answer. You asked, he answered. You know, life is short and sweet. That isn’t what you wanted to hear, right?
Q: No.
J-R: Yeah, I got that. (whisper) He needs more, he needs more information. Tell him.
JM: You’d like me to tell him some more information?
J-R: Yeah, about what he wants to know.
JM: OK.
J-R: I’m waiting for the hard ones. (J-R laughing)
JM: So, what do you know so far?
Q: Very little.
J-R: See, joy is the sign of the presence of God, you know. It’s there and he’s not got it yet.
JM: Well you know, he knows the silent part.
J-R: Yeah! He just doesn’t know the joyful part. (Laughter) That’s the Spirit doing that. There’s no reason for anybody to be laughing here, so you gotta know that they’re laughing because something’s happening inside.
Voice: Because it’s funny.
J-R: Of course it’s funny.
JM: It’s always funny.
J-R: It’s always funny. You never laugh when it’s serious; it’s always funny.
JM: It’s always funny.
J-R: You might as well get with the laughter, ‘cause that’s what’s happening here. One of the signs, you said, “how do you know?” so Spirit gave you one, you missed it. So, you know, one thing you’ve got to do is, be awake for when it happens. ‘Cause it’s just going to start again, just to see if you can catch it.
(Laughter)
J-R: And the more they try to fight it, the harder it just goes on longer, and longer.
(Laughter)
JM: This is the part where we say, “furthermore…”
J-R: And in conclusion!
