The Disturbing Experiment Universe 25

In a world threatened by constant hunger and struggling with overpopulation, the question is not far off as to how things should continue in the future. More and more natural disasters claim human lives, unequal distribution of food leads to starving children and adults on the one hand and to mass food destruction on the other. It is now clear to almost everyone that things cannot go on like this. We live in a consumer and throwaway society whose resources are slowly coming to an end.

The scariest part of this isn't over population, it's what happens when there are unlimited resources and no normal life adversity. The population collapse happened not because of lack of resources.

Great video, but unfortunately you missed the main point of the Universe 25 experiment! The reason it collapsed was the mice were focused too much on themself alone (beautiful once) and didn't care much for socializing and procreating (mothers would not care about their small mice, and even killed them). Look in what world we live now, many people care only about them selves, fun and social media, they don't care to have kids at all just like the Beautiful mice. You say don't have 4-5 kids but just 1-2, how many young families do you know that want many kids?? Look at the world average population growth chart, there are many countries under 2.0 which means their population is decreasing already. The Population growth already started to decline many years ago, and the average age of humanity is getting older with every year just like in the mice experiment. The humanity needs to wake up and stop caring only about them selves, and social media, but go outside and care for other people! There is still a lot of space and resources for humanity, just like Elon Musk says, the biggest treat to our civilization is population collapse due to not enough kids, just like in the experiment Universe 25.

I am 40 years old, I feel like civilization has spat Mr out. I was injured on duty and am unable to work, so I have withdrawn from society. I spend most of my time in my room, basically having given up on humanity. Women aren't interested in me and I have absolutely no desire to reproduce. So this shows that the downfall of humanity has begun. I don't think of myself as beautiful or anything. I have just given up.

My first 20-38 yrs of age I lived in Miami, Tampa, Orlando, jville, Denver, LA, Phoenix, St.Louis etc etc etc. people are alike no matter where you are. Since moved to small town in middle of nowhere to isolate myself from the masses. The study makes sense to me.

Population Collapse is AS bad or WORSE than overpopulation. Plus, we have not even hit 'peak overpopulation' yet. Educate yourself on the topic if you think every human needs to ONLY have one child.

The worst video on Universe 25 I've ever seen. If it was over population that was the cause, the society would have begun to thrive again once everyone started dying off. There was plenty of room for many more mice even at its Apex so the overpopulation reasoning is ridiculous. And for this video to encourage having less children when most Western countries are having problems with with underpopulation makes this video silly and obviously not well researched.

No he is wrong.. don't just have 1 child.. unless u can't afford more. Look at the population decline in China and japan.. 8 guys to 1 girl in China? I mean come on.. ? He is right make ur kids go outside and play not sit in a phone. But still.. have kids if you can afford them..
