if there is double size silver band, it is to indicate that the inductor is military standard, or military specification. first and second bands are value bands and 3rd band is multiplier band, last band is tolerance band.

Hello mr. Haseeb. One can also measure the value of an inductor with an ESR meter. The value read on the ESR meter is in Ohms. Now use the following formula: L (µH) = R(Ohm) / 0.628.
This formula gives an (almost) exact value of the coil. I would like to follow your very good videos on You Tube, very instructive and simply explained and presented. Very educational. You are doing a wonderful job, please keep it up. Greetings from Belgium. Andy.

I have burnt smd inductor at the drain of the mosfet in LED TV combo board at primary side. What will happen if I connect the circuit without smd inductor after replacing the burnt mosfte and the driver.
