The shell with all the holes is for a Recoilless rifle. M1 helmet front seam was adopted in 1941 this was developed in 1940 the seam was moved to the back of the rim in November of 1943. The Kelly helmet was in use till 1941.

Good morning Captain. Hope you slept well in your new bed in your new house! I love it when you have Harold over to play; I could listen to him for days. At 4:33, Pirate, I need that yellow caution tape for prankin' folks. Could you autograph it and deliver it? Tell Uncle Mike I'm still waiting on that ride. Uncle Mike was a little shy with the camera today, but tell him he's got nice legs. Fabulous unit! Tyfs. 💕😁

Beautiful unit Mike! It could have been taken to the landfill but you saved it! Putting pieces of history back into the hands of people who will appreciate and preserve pieces of the past!! Thank you 🙏🏻 !

swivel bale helmets are not 40/42 they are 45 and beyond
fixed bale and D bale are the most valuable

18:39 this dude sorta knows his helmets. they started manufacturing them in 1941, not 1938. but the rims made of stainless steel and the seam was moved to the back in late 1944. other then that hes spot on. its been repainted but still a nice helmet. liner looks mid ww2. the ww2 liners ARE NOT made from wood. the one hes holding is made from resin soaked canvas molded into shape at high temperature. they switched to swivel bale in late 1943.
the BAR belt is for the primary man in the 3 man BAR team. the metal cup was for the buttstock when you were doing walking fire. very desirable.
