8:39 its hunting camouflage. A stag will let a buck hangout out side his perimeter and dosnt expect him to shoot him with a bow

I know she’s happily married and all, but I’ve had such a major crush on Prof Roberts for years. I love her brain and the way she articulates everything. Now, with that silliness out of the way, great video. Thanks for posting it.😊🙌🏾

What would the population have been during that time period in the country? How did so many different peoples around the country be so well traveled way back in the day? It is pretty amazing how far they traveled. And really a small numbers of people in a group. UK seems so diverse of people from other countries moving and living there from the beginning.

Professor Alice, what happens when an area destined to have houses built on it is found to have ancient relics in the ground? Is the housing excavation cancelled completely as the area is of historic importance?

The possible use of the antlers found at Star Carr make me think of the Abbots Bromley Horn Dance. Could that possibly be descended from a similar shamanistic tradition? It's a long shot, I admit.

In the 1984 version of 'The Box of Delights', Glyn Baker wore a 'cap' of deer antlers in his role as Herne the Hunter.

That’s not a pendant - it’s a plectrum belonging to Stone Age Slash!

Favorite amp? Haven’t played a lot of tube amps. I loved the Super Reverb I played back in early 70s. Big contributed to my tinnitus, though. Recently bought a Mesa Fillmore 25, and I’m loving it. Great clean tone, and am finding some good tones on the drive channel. The master volumes let me play at home, too.
