Hi Eric, can you give us a update? we just installed ours yesterday and trying to figure out the best draw methods to start the fire...thermostat settings ect.. also I would mention that per instructions you are NOT to leave the ash pan in the stove, I wonder if it also stops bottom airflow if you leave it in? ALSO Can a person run this stove without electricity?

Do you leave the stainless steel ash pan inside the ash dump while it’s running or do you just use that when you’re cleaning the ashes out Joe in Maine?

For your fire brick inside on top, where is there a gap?? Do you have it towards the front of the fire box?? Or the back??

Hey Eric we bought a SF1000E and noticed there is not a grating in the firebox is it supposed to has grating to put the wood on or just lay it on the firebricks

I just seen one at the store today I have fuel oil furnace in the detached garage that’s broken junk but I have ductwork in it already you pretty happy with it? Thought about buying it we heat my dads place with a central boiler so I got plenty access to wood

We bought ours January of 2023. A pain to clean the ashes out. Cracks around the door and have to take the top off and adjust sheet metal. When the fan starts vibration will drive you nuts. Little fan is obnoxiously loud. Plane ass junk. Pass poor engineering and construction.

These are junk i put one in 2023 and from November to December 8th ive had to clean out the creosote 3 times already, ive heated with wood for 10 years and this is the worst stove ive ever used
