Been playing with mine all day, it's a decent improvement over the CV1. Titles like DCS and Elite look significantly better

Also IPD when I put it on it all seemed clear and ok I checked and it was set at 63.5 so I set it to my actual IPD which is 67...I went to the opticians to get a proper reading of it and while it still all looks ok things looked better at 63.5 which is the lenses actual IPD or within it so I set it to 65 so not to strain my eyes as a happy medium, see how I go on...it looks ok at 67 but I can see a difference

The sound actually is decent, I was worried but I don't think I need to bother with headphones for now

Got mine today, it is definitely a improvement from the original rift

Few issues which I know I would have being light bleed at the bottom where my nose is, matter how I have the headset there does not seem to be as much nose cushion to stop it...as I never had this issue on my rift when I had it., Also Devs for games need to hurry up and update them as I find it pretty jarring and not good when it is still showing the original touch controllers in games, even though on the oculus store the games say ..rift s compatible...they still show the old controllers and in the menu parts when it shows you the basic controller on one game the thumb stick does not even move or register

They need to update it and quick, also send games like Arizona sunshine from the oculus store...still show 3 old rift sensor outlines which again should not be happening and is pretty jarring

A simple question: do you need to be in daylight or lightened room conditions for the Rift S to work properly i.e. for it to be able to track head movement? I usually sit in a darkened room in the winter evenings with my 2D monitor flight sim set up for reasons of ambience, but I'm not sure if the Rift S would work in this circumstance? I have read that this comes with a cloth to wipe lenses which I never found. Did anyone else find this cloth?

hello voodo, please test the rift s with FPS titles (pavlov-zeroCaliber-contractors), i know that you tested it with stormland but you weren't holding a real gun, and please don't use a gun stock
