I was APR stage 1 for a week then my tune like completely stopped. Car felt like it was slower than stock. Switched to EQT stage 1 and I it. It's missing that downlow punch but makes up for it because you have power all throughout the power band. After 3rd gear on the APR it just fell on its face. I did gap a STI on APR. That was dope

If we just do ECU stage 1 APR tune alone, without gearbox tune, and without any hardware change (intake, exhaust etc), will it be safe for daily use? Not planning to push the car to the max every single drive, just wanting the extra response and torque at kickdown…Car is DSG 2015 model btw.

is this on lowering springs? the way it sounded over the bump on that first clip gives me PTSD lol

IE tunes are way better, just did mine on a mk7 GLI stage 2 93 octane crackle high torque file with the DSG tune as well and it woke it uppp. Thinking on doing a hpfp now for E85 👀

I’d watch out for Apr performane I ordered a big 71” wing and sent me for the wrong years and then wouldn’t fix order till I returned the wrong one and wouldn’t pay back the 430$ shipping charge me for their mistake.

GTI is almost a perfect car to me, have 7 GTI stage1 as well, almost, because its FWD, no way to do launch control because the wheels will spin or even worse - bunny hop, no way to feel any kind of pull because you can only put down the pedal at about 40mph in order not to have any wheel spin, anything over 200 hp is too much for FWD
