Heres some helpful tips for this game:

nobody will accept an alliance if they don’t have a 31+ diplomacy score with you, however they will accept almost always if you have a positive score and your at war with someone who their at war with.

It’s the same thing with pacts, they’ll only accept if your above 6+ diplomacy score, however they won’t accept that if they are a much bigger nation than you

Terrain doesn’t matter.

When your screen turns red and does a little trumpet sound that means someone has declared war on you.

Also you should really read the little book pop ups on the top right, they will also tell you if someone declares war on you, who it is, as well as other stuff like sanctions and peace offers

There is no attrition in the game, as long as you have money to spend it will keep the troops fine.

Tip: Producing uranium is very OP, you can trade with countries, exchanging uranium for a lot of land and making monopoly over all in-game uranium.

14:36 quick lesson when you see a blue line on the map thats a river and you can move troops through that river and attack nations that a re landlocked you can also do that for example when finland declared war on you they could attack you through the river (thats how they got one province of yours at the end)
