Can castor oil help your hair grow?

Castor oil grew my eyelashes and brows! And also cleared my acne. If it can grow my eyelashes and brows.. it can probably help hair growth on your scalp lol

Beg to differ! I use it only 3 weeks ago and my baby hair starts growing slowly. Then I put it on my scalp, only 20 mins before washing hair, swear to God, alongside the plantur 39 tonic, my hair grows crazy! Plantur 39 works very slowly, using them 6 months, and my hair stop shedding. But when I add castor oil routine, it seems accelerate hair growth fast!!

But Castor did work for me! I was having thinning hair mostly in the crown area and I used castor oil for more than 2 months and it worked. It's also cheaper than minoxidil.

Lol 😂 whatever, I’ve used Jamaican black castor oil on my edges as a kid and it grew my hair like crazy unexpectedly, I don’t know why these “medical professionals” say oil doesn’t grow your hair when I feel otherwise. I’m crazy about oils now because it made my hair so healthy and helped with transitioning from relaxed hair to natural.
Oils doesn’t necessarily “grow” hair but they have properties that will aid in helping retaining length and strength.

Then how come it works for me and anyone else who's used it? I used it on my brows and they've literally never been more full. My outer part of my brows are actually visible now and they are long and dark now. Nobody in my family has good eyebrows but ever since I started using it, things have changed.

I used it consistently for about three months. Never been more grateful. That was a few years ago. I'm now using it again, but focusing more on my lashes. My brows haven't deteriorated or anything after discontinuing use, I'm just going to keep using it now

Used castor oil on my lashes couple years ago and they grew so long, more thicker, it looks I had mascara at all times. I am going back to ir now, as stres and make up impacted lashes, but I can definitely say- yes, castor oil helps with hair growth. ❤

Well he never said it doesn’t make hair grow, he simply said there is no “scientific” evidence. An article on NCBI said “there have been no studies done on the benefits of castor oil and hair.” So just because no profesional studies have been conducted, doesn’t mean it doesn’t work. Just letting everyone know.

I've used pure black castor oil on my hair as the only product i ever use for the last two years. My scalp was getting when i used other things of all kinds and realized chemicals are not for me. I have a 2.5/3 grade hair, i don't have straight hair at all, its just soft and My hair is not only healthy but it has grown and is strong. Ive used nothing else for 2 years, i wear multiple different braids styles, all simple, no small braids, 8 braids at the most are the smallest i wear. Its feels good to use on my hair something so pure i don't have to wash my hands when im done

Hello there buddy! I have something to clarify. Do you have to heat the oil prior to applying your hair?

In my country we use coconut oil to our hair and we heat it on a table spoon over a gas cooker/heat/fire and rub it, if we just apply it then we might have brain freeze. So is it the same case with castor oil? Thanks a lot in advance!

most of hair growth products use dimethicone silicon, i think i go with natural castor oil virgin candlenut oil & grapeseed oil
