I appreciate this understanding. There can be such a tension between the more skillful means paths and the direct realization paths. The realization paths can at times look down on means and practices as lowly "ego activity, " and dismiss striving and means. Most of these masters have simply realize themselves suddenly and may have forgotten the process leading to where they ended up
