Space requirement is probably what stops me from going for a full 3V system. Personally, I am sniffing at the Brewtools B40 Pro. Looks amazing!

Great points on both systems, I think the main reasons I go BIAB is space saving and ease of brew day. And in the end I am making beer I love so I am sticking with it for now!

Well I'm using a brewzilla 3.1.1 and I love it. and I can sparge whatever way I want. You just have to know what you have to do either to do it 🧠😊🍻👍

I have a 3 tier gravity keggle rig, with a 1/2”x 50’ immersion chiller, I can’t imagine trying to clean what I can’t see. I started with extract and quickly moved to BIAB and shortly after that I wanted to move to 10 gallon batches.

This video had lots of good info, Love the vids keep em coming.

Currently using a gravity 2 vessel system. 120 qt Coleman cooler mashtun elevated above the boil kettle with a "Wilserbrewer" custom grain bag. 25 gallon boil kettle with Blichmann Hellfire burner. Heat up full volume strike water in the boil kettle and pump it up into the mash tun. Dough in the mash tun with a 24" whisk to brake all the dough balls, then close the lid and walk away for 60 or 90 minutes. Open the drain valve and drain all the wort into the boil kettle via gravity and boil from there. I use 2 chillers in series to get down to lager pitching temps. (1) counterflow to bring hot wort down to 90F with tap water, and after that my old school 25' immersion chiller that I run the wort through internally and dunk the immersion chiller in an ice batch while transferring to my fermenter. On the discharge line into the fermenter I have an oxygen stone and then it's ready for yeast. 75% brew house efficiency

I use a 2 system. Still technically doing biab but I use an electric anvil and started on a spike kettle which is now my HLT

I jumped right into all grain, never did anything else. I got the Clawhammer 110 system. After issues with the chugger pump I ended up getting a Riptide pump, money well spent. You can easily clean it, purge it, and adjust the flow for like you said 50 extra bucks. Currently using the plate chiller supplied with the system and its nasty. I have to make sure to boil it for like 20min to make sure there are no bugs. Definitely been looking to get a counter flow chiller! I hope one day to get onto a 3V system one day.

I’m running a 3 vessel system. 20g HLT 20g MT and 35g boil kettle. Riptide pumps, Currently all gas but converting HLT to herms as we speak. I use a Jaded chiller but really want to get the counter flow chiller you use. It’s next on the list. 🤘🏻

You said to put the chiller in the wort for the last 15 minutes. Is there down side to leaving it in for the whole boil time?

How do you find the hellfire with the ss bme 20gal kettle ?
Heating times-overkill ?
I’ve recently purchased the kettle and will be looking at burners next
