Vance did a great job, but the truth is always easier, that's why walz looked so bad

Funny how the VP candidates actually have competent things to say, meanwhile our presidential puppets are both morons.

It was mostly civil. I liked that. Vance was civil but he did tell lies. Walz was civil but he didn't defend the truth to my satisfaction. I think that the reason it was civil is because they were attacking the records of Trump and Harris and the attacks weren't personal. I give Vance points for professionalism and composure and I give Walz points for tenacity and honesty. I don't see any clear winner. Here's the problem with these debates, there's no time to do anything but scratch the surface of each issue. We didn't learn anything meaningful. There wasn't enough time for Vance to prove to me that, what I detected as lies, was in fact true. And there wasn't enough time for Walz to prove Vance wrong. So in the end I saw Vance as hypocritical and Walz as too eager but ineffective.

This debate was a wash. Vance seemingly look polish, but when he was asked about January 6, 2021, that's where he screwed up IMO. He walked that Trumpian line. Vance didn't look presidential. The fact that he can't admit that his running mate lost the last presidential election and actually tried to challenged the results of that election should be disqualifying for him as VP.

O'Reilly is neither historian nor journalist. He's a loudmouth know-it-all. Vance won. End of discussion. O'Reilly can go back to his nap.
