Love this! This is literally me. I had FM on the absolute bottom of my list coming in to school, but the more I rotated through my different clerkships, the more I realized my heart was really with simple primary care, and I wish that out society & medical education prioritized and incentivized primary care providers more.

I didn't chose Family Medicine. Family Medicine choose me.

Don't let her gaslight ya'll. She went into FP b/c she is a foreign medical grad and FP is not very competitive and the shortest residency out there so it fits with her lifestyle of being an influence! Foreign medical grads have difficulty getting into residencies this they have to settle for anything they can get
