A thing you forgot to say about Sonny Liston is that he's the most underrated boxer of all times. But yeah, most feared boxer of all times, didn't fear anybody he's never turned down a match.

7:43 he is probably 70 years old here but his jab is still looking awsome.

Marvin hagler's jab out of the southpaw stance was awesome ..that's how Bud Crawford dominated Earl Spence the jab opened up the counters that and Bud did a great job of catching Spence's punches on the gloves..

Good morning Buster Douglas also had a great jab. Some people cannot simply stick to a topic. This presentation is about great jabs.

What also should be mentioned here is that Sonny Liston had the longest reach relative to height in the history of championship boxing. At 6'1, he had a 7 foot reach. When you watch his jab fly out it's like his arm has an extender on it. Foreman used to say it felt like he could hit you from across the ring. For comparison, Tyson Fury and Sonny Liston have almost the same reach, give or take an inch.

That was accurate of you to say that "Sonny Listens's Jab has as much of a chance of knocking out opponents than most heavierweight's fully charged straights". Remember how Anthony Joshua's straight right knocked the sweat off of Ruiz and stunned him real badly. Yeah, Sonny listons Jab for you.

I guess you got to be a heavyweight to have a good jab huh? Just a couple exceptions here.

Crazy that 3 of those atg jabs were formed under one coach: Manny Steward. That man truly was a boxing wizard. RIP to greatest pro coach of all time.

I tot i would see buster douglas here.
Before he lost his mom. He was like master of all level type of talent and had that all around type of package.
Able to brawl it out with mike tyson at close or out jab any opponent he faced.

Im surprised he wasnt here for his jab

Great video. Thanks.

Another channel had the same question your title asked for their viewers and I was only one of very few who mentioned Liston. Hearns was on their list...but what REALLY surprised me is that I was the only person to have mentioned Lennox Lewis' jab. (At the time I posted...and there were many posts before mine) His punches were SO on target too 🎯.

Pretty good video that with king Larry rightly at the top of any list ….Hagler used to box orthodox and after a clinch cone out southpaw and then do a jumping jab which caught all opponents by surprise sometimes setting up a K.O. Like against Tommy …..Tyson Fury also dictates some fights with a good jab either lefty lead or southpaw too ….
