As an American I must say I am extremely disappointed in the deadness of the audience.  If SR was playing that song almost anywhere in Europe the entire crowd would dancing and singing along.

I'm American and Stone Roses in 1995 was my favorite rock show I've ever seen (out of many). Such amazing talents.

I was at this gig and the crowd was very small. The crowd that was there was very dedicated though but Coachella mainly caters to people in their twenties and as such most attendees were incredibly young when the band broke up, and as a result they hadn't heard of The Stone Roses. Even when they were popular they didn't make much of a splash over here. Sometimes that just happens. Kudos to the Coachella organizers that decided to bill them as headliners despite the fact that they were never popular over here. There's not one major festival over here that would've paid them that respect, let alone booked them in the first place. So stop trashing American's for not going apeshit during this set. As far as bands go this was by far the best sounding band I heard all weekend. The main stage a Coachella has one of the best sound systems out there and they lifted the band up to the next level. They were absolutely spot on and completely blew me Ian Brown sounded really bad. I know he was never a fantastic vocalist to begin with, but this was the worst I've ever heard him. Still, it wasn't enough to take away from how good the set was as a whole. I really hope the poor attendance for their sets at Coachella doesn't discourage them from ever coming back here, because they have a lot of dedicated fans here and I imagine they could have a pretty successful tour in the US if they played in some 2000-3000 person venues.

I would've given my right arm to see them at Coachella (or anywhere for that matter)! It kills me to think of all the kids out there who wouldn't have the faintest of who the Stone Roses are and what they did for rock-n-roll. They changed my life when I was 13.

I remember staying up all night to buy tickets when they first went on sale for the Phoenix Park, Dublin gig when the Roses got back together + going absolutely crazy at the gig itself, digging every minute of it, jumping around, singing every word along with everyone else there. I see thi vid and think there's something deadly wrong in some parts of the world...

Mani loves playing with the Roses they all do take one of them away it aint the Roses great band changed alot of things after one album always be remembered

I've seen ian Brown in interviews..and to be honest, he's the roses weakest link...he's got a shocking voice..he must of thought his birthday and Christmas had come together when the other 3 musicians play...reni mani and squire are brilliant
