Y’all are awesome! Yes to everything y’all said! I work for the state and make less than $60K per year and was able to pay off $40K in two years. It doesn’t matter how much you earn…it’s your mindset and motivation and of course God giving the strength to persevere. Thank y’all for this video! Debt freedom feels amazing 🤩

Adding to: just because we're debt free doesn't mean we're rich enough to loan you money. Cut off your bad habits of drinking and smoking 1st before you claim to be broke.

NUMBER 1 Stuck with Me. It’s only because we are a 1 income household. It’s hard to watch videos knowing I can’t work because I care for my son around the clock who has Chronic Kidney Disease . If you can His & Her Money showcase more videos of 1 income households earning under 50k income paying debt so I won’t get discouraged. We have paid 11k on college debt within 2 years with 1 income, but sometimes I envision what we could do if we had 2 incomes. Hopefully God will grant health and wellness to our warrior Jaleel so we can earn more income to pay debt off.

It’s also hard to see couples saying their spouse paid off debt while the other maintained the needs of the home. It’s hard to hear that when you are a 1 income family of 5. However, I know God will allow things to open up for us to have 2 incomes to knock down more debt than we are doing now.

I love this video especially the part of hard work. My wife just became car debt free last week. We paid off $30k for 2 cars in 2.5 years. God is good,

This was a GREAT video. I LOVED #5. We will be paying off our home in August if all goes as planned and one of the things that we just KNOW someone will say is that being debt-free means that we "should" be able to give X, Y, or Z to this one or that one. We already experience that, because people THINK they know our financial situation and they make ASSUMPTIONS about what we do or don't have.

I’ll add one: Debt free people want you to know that they are determined people! It doesn’t happen by wishing, hoping or even just praying. It takes desire and determination and work. When you are determined to do your part God will show up and do His.

This was awesome! I have shared it with my group. You all re so thorough when it comes to explaining things. I think you all covered everything. I do have one question: Have there ever been a time that you were not on the same page when it came to your finances? If so, what was it that it took a minute for both of you to see?
