The more embarrassing the photos are the better. Trust me.

Edit: you could also become a influencer if you take enough progress photos (literally me rn)

The worst possible pictures you could take will end up being the best of the bunch, shows how far you’ve come. My first few months of progress pics when I started my journey were soooo embarrassing at the time that I never showed them to anyone until years later. Now I look at them and laugh 😂

Realest advice ever. Started lifting 7months ago and was too embarrassed to take a picture of myself. I regret not doing so since now I can't see how far I've come.

I swear I wish I did this back when I started my progress. I was 225 pounds about 8 months ago, now I'm at 165, sometimes i feel like i have done nothing, the photos would've been helpful reminding me who I was before. Take progress photos guys.

Another thing

No matter how good the progress seems, don't slack off

You got to where you are because of your consistency, keep that consistency up.

Another tip: dont change your workout routines too often. Especially if they're for just a certain amount of muscle groups

I have old photos of me when I was depressed af in college. I was eating nothing but burgers and drinking nothing but sodas. Now I look back at them to see how far I’ve come and how much I’ve improved myself since then. Keep grinding Kings 👑

Also, don't overtrain. In fact, don't even think about going to failure for the first month. Get a feel for every movement and every machine in your gym, get good at them(especially your compound movements like Deadlift, Bench Press, Squat, etc.). Once you've done that you can start to really work out like you mean it. You know, really put in the work and the hours

It also helps see how consistent you were because it has the time stamps on all the photos

Another thing: it’s easier to go to the gym if you are consistent with your training.
