I remember back in the day when I was bored I would play Halo 2 and try and get an energy sword on a playthrough on easy but when I run out of the energy sword power I just keep the weapon and beat people up with my fists. Sitting there spam punching a brute in the face is one of the most fun things ever

I've wanted the Jackal Shield to be an official weapon in Halo since the H2 days. Going around with an Energy Sword and a Jackal Shield is the dream.

the fact that the jackal shield has a first person makes me sad they never made it usable in-game despite them thinking about it. might have been good against jackal snipers
