HFY is a story/series that takes a “human element” in either humanity or an “other” (race/species or object) that exists in a “setting” (future or other world/universe) with varying levels of culture, technology, society and history that help show in some shape or form the potential good or bad for humanity’s race/culture. In These stories Humans are often referred to as Human, Humanity, Deathworlder, Hellwolder in reference to the human planet of origin , Earth. This planet is seen by most of the universe as a place where only death and chaos can survive.

Humans Are Space Orcs (HASO) or Humans Are (Fantasy Race) Are used as a guide when writing.
In these Stories we normally View humans like the other races view orcs in a Fantasy Novel. We (Humans) share the same characteristics and personalities as orcs. Humans are normally treated as the outsiders and barbarians. Humans tend to be underestimated as well in these stories. Unlike Humanity Feck Yea , these don't always put a positive spin on humans\humanity sometimes looking at the darker side of human and humanity from the perspective of aliens.

From tetris to stellaris, there are so many games out there

I love that I can identify almost all of the games mentioned with a brief description.
Skyrim was easy as soon as I heard "anyone can just pick up and play".

Not sure why the narrator is so impressed by human games, since she appears to have handily excelled at all of them on her first try. Most humans take months or years of practice to get that good.

The alien should have played Viseral Clean Up.
Just to know that humans don't even care if there is guts, blood and pieces of bodies on the floor.
They can just clean it and laugh about it.

Or even the controversial Hatred
Just to show what can happen when a human is pushed over the edge or lose his sanity.
Not even civilians are safe from a mad man, now picture a human that won't care for the safety of civilians of another species.

Then there are the Hentai games.
This alone will scar the alien mind for life.
Just don't tell them about the Harkness Test.

I’d like to see their reaction to Minecraft. Probably something about the graphics being “rather primitive” but the possibilities for construction and expansion being nigh limitless and the game being oddly relaxing, even in intense battles.
