Black Myth: Wukong is an action role-playing game developed and published by Game Science. It is inspired by the classical Chinese novel Journey to the West. It was released worldwide for PlayStation 5 and Windows on August 20, 2024, with an Xbox Series X/S version slated for a later date. The game received generally positive reviews from critics with praise directed towards its combat, visual design, and world building.

The player controls a monkey protagonist referred to as the Destined One, who is based on Sun Wukong from the novel. The protagonist's weapon is a staff, based on the Ruyi Jingu Bang from the novel. The staff is able to extend and shrink its size. The combat involves three staff stances, which are the smash stance, the pillar stance, and the thrust stance.

I think this is the boss that will make me not advance in the game anymore. It’s not even a difficult boss fight, it’s a nonsensical boss fight that solely relies on luck and not the type of strategy I got to love with this game with the bosses before this one.

I defeated him. I stayed close to him the whole time lol. It’s still a really stupid boss fight. Glad it’s over.
