Been trading for 3-4 years.

Never waste your time on prop firms, their system is designed to make you broke. Take all your money and not care about you.

I went broke from prop firms because of their stupid trading rules and don’t pay you out.

Once I hopped back into trading my own capital, I made all of my lost money back plus more and kept gaining more profits to keep for myself.

Best to practice on prop firms as well if you have extra money...learn the rules and get used to it. Discipline is just as important.

doing a small account. the psychology with real money would translate better than demo i think. Even if its just 100 or 200.

big tip is to physically place a SL and TP on the chart as soon as you enter. and DONT move them unless your trialing the stop loss or taking profit earlier because of retracement, ect. never move you take profit for more and never move the stop loss lower than you have it set. will help toward becoming disciplined

Demo then prop firms. Prop firms are actually good to teach discipline. Not all prop firms are the same though so be careful. Don’t use any that have intraday draw down levels, but overall i like prop firms. Made $8600 payout for 8 days of work so it’s worth it to add it to your arsenal. Plus if you get moved to a live account you’re now a full time trader and can change your life.

I think it's actually a great idea to pay for cheap $50 prop accounts. It gives one the emotional confidence while learning.

Prop challenges are designed to earn them income from testing fee's, and the max DD is so low on many. Fury is designed for YOU to win, not them.

Demo trading is not the same as real trading. The psychology and emotional part makes a huge difference.

You can even be profitable on demo and live and still lose prop accounts cos of shit like daily DD, relative DD, trading around news, consistency rules, holding on weekends with high swaps etc crazy stuff

I trade evals and performance accounts on apex with already multiple payouts. Learning trading rules makes you a better trader long term. Can't speak for other firms

I agree with this, the flip side is no matter how good you get in a sim you do at the next step need some kind of skin in the game otherwise the pure sim will always be to easy.

New retail traders should never go for prop firms right out of the gate, trade a few years wih your own, money and get time in the markets which is the most important variable.

i do not think everyone has it in them to do short term trading, a majority ends up losing a lot of money andn ends up thinking its something wrong with them often,
