I just saw this movie and found it very interesting. In a great way. Genuinely had me trembling. The best thing about it is the way it's told, really puts you in the main character's shoes and makes you wonder if things are really as they seem. Some scenes may hit very close to home if you're LGBT, though you can probably tell that from this trailer.

Edit: I watched this movie with my best friend and his husband as we liked it. The ending was very disturbing.

For calling the gay version of get out. Need to go back and watch both movies, and not bee so quick to put them as similar line but one a gay version. This movie deals with a whole lot more. This is a good suspense thriller. Chapman as come a long way, since I first say him in (the skinny 2012) with Jussie Smollett. He did really well in this movie. I support my Canadian actors.

I ended up super confused by the end of this movie. SPOILERS AHEAD: 1 was Malik talking to his ex boyfriend through the phone or he died and he was imagining it? 2 The satanists were immortal so did they feast on fear from the community to the minorites or from the blood of a young virgin girl? That's not explained very well. 3 what's all about that subplot of the guy Malik was researching talking about conversation therapy? Did that add something to the plot? 4 Why Malik didn't remember to take those polaroid photos with the son of the old guy? In what moment they did that to him? 5 what was the thing with the hard drive? Why the bad guy took it? What was in the folder that the bad guy was talking? 6 who was the guy on the bridge? 7 At the end did they kill Malik and his husband? I was super confused at the end.
