Haha, thanks for the vid! I think either Mohammed and I have very similar tastes (other than I don't generally invest in ETFs, though I think VTI/VOO are ones I'd tell my kids to invest in), or we hit some cosmic randomness at unprecedented levels to find 2 portfolios that are so similar! Good stuff!

Great video! I haven't looked at my 401k in a while, more in it than I thought. 62k and adding $500 a month in my brokerage account, bring on the F.I.R.E. movement!

Very well done. Excellent info and easy to understand.

The problem with buying Total Stock Market ETFs is you also invest in the Military Industrial Complex and Prison Industrial (Slavery) Complex. Safer to buy ETFs based on specific sector.

Is it just me or is 84% in 4 years not a great return for that time period? I'm new to investing, so I legitimately don't know, but my ETF's alone returned more than twice that in almost half the time.

Great video. Just wondering what are your thoughts on Stryker ($231) and visa ($210) at these price points. Sorry for the annoying question, I dot have anyone else to talk about finace too so I resort to YouTube comments 😅

Loved the video Jake! Quick question, is there a good resource to see if companies have a good track record of paying their dividends? How can you tell if their dividends are increasing over time? I know there are lists of dividend kings, but I think there are a lot of reputable companies that don't make the cut.

Hey Jake another great video. As usual I agree with the majority of the opinions you give. I sent you an email just now with a quick question if you don't mind. Keep up the great videos!😁

Do we need to worry about overlapping when purchasing ETFs and individual stocks? In that last portfolio the owner has an ETF in some of the sectors along with individual stocks. All those individual stocks make up the major holdings of the ETFs. What are your thoughts around that? Thanks! :)

I'm 23 and just getting started in stocks/investing.. would you recommend that I set up two separate portfolios (one for growth and the other for dividends) as you mentioned early on in the video? If so, how can I know which dividend yield to aim for and which is appropriate for my age? I'd prefer to retire as early as possible. Thanks in advance!

If it's the Ball I'm thinking of, you for sure "know" them. All of Coke's cans are made by Ball, in addition to their history of producing canning jars.
