Hi! This is Marky from the Philippines. When I rebalance my port what I do is just to invest more on the sectors where I don't have enough exposure or check if I am still following the guidelines I set for myself for individual stocks above (5% for mega cap and so on). I do this because I had the tendency to go full gun-ho on penny stocks when they're shooting up not realizing how much exposure I am getting to very volatile movement. When it is filtered above, the pie chart automatically adjust so sometimes I just check the individual stocks and exclude etfs or sometimes I just want to see tech stocks on the piechart. 400k that's incredible man, keep going! Love your content & videos! I'd say the success with your 9-5 has definitley helped growing your portfolio rather quickly? Also, would definitley recommend looking into private syndication real estate, I just invested a few months ago and am getting payouts every 6 months, with rates much higher than fundrise and others. Closer to 40% apy.

The navy civilian can also put money into his TSP and get his employer match, especially since he can choose a Roth 401k rather than a traditional.

Great video! I had a question about what to put in my Roth (also in my early 20s). I do 50% VTI, 25% SCHG, and 25% VGT. Thoughts? I was planning to hold onto this for like you said 30 years then convert it to a dividend growth fund.

I've got a bit of a different question, and it has to do with dividend payment dates, DRIP, and taxes: If I bought 100 shares of a dividend company more than a year ago but I've been using DRIP on the company's dividend, does each dividend payment not get the one year capital gain tax benefit until it's been a full year since that dividend payment has been paid out?
