How The Flash's Big Cameo Could Set Up The Brave And The Bold

Why would an actor reprise a role many called his biggest failure? And is a surprise cameo in "The Flash" a hint of things to come?

I think Clooney could be a fantastic Batman/Bruce W. "IF" he has the script/direction to a Dark Knight character instead of the cool, yet mis-stepped kid friendly offering from back in the day. Just think of the possibilities of an older Batman mentoring Robin / D Wayne or even Robin moving into NIghtwing. Toss in a Dark version of Batgirl and BAM... or even the Batman Beyond setup. Michael K., Christian B., and Ben A. offered amazing performances as Batman (imo) and I wish we could have more. Robert P. brought a very good performance in the newest Batman in the earlier part of his detective career...Looking forward to where that goes as well.

Christian Bale Cameo At the end could be a great choice....he could play father in brave and bold and he is just 50 ....so no worries for 10 years for batman in new DCU

I would love to see Clooney given another chance as Batman with a better script. Clooney had potential, but like he said, they didn't give him anything to work off of. So that's why his Batman sucked.

But when I was a kid, I liked him as Batman just like I liked Val Kilmer Batman.

As if Gunn would bring back Clooney for The Brave and the Bold. That would mean setting up the new DCU in this timeline when clearly he's looking for a completely clean break from anything related to the Snyderverse.

I thought Clooney looked most like Bruce Wayne/Batman, he just had a lousy script to work with. The least believable Bruce Wayne/Batman was Michael Keaton. Think about it. He looked well into his 30s and that's when he makes himself known to Gotham City? Superimpose Christian Bale into the 1989 movie and you've got perfection.
