This is a VERY LATE Halloween Animatic I had planned for a while. It took me a lot longer to finish than I hoped since I wanted to colour it completely.

Watching this... it makes my heart hurt. Alphys brought Crystal back to life! And Crystal just wanted to see her family again! Alphys looks so innocent here. She never meant for her experiments to go so wrong. And when she saw what happened, she was so ashamed of herself.

When I first played Undertale I was always interested in the Snowdrake family drama, but when I reached MTT Resort and talked to Snowdrake’s Dad and heard that Snowdrake’s mom was dead, my heart broke, thankfully it was mushed together again after I saw the Snowdrake family happy and together again.

Dude Snowdrake’s mom is my favorite amalgam just because of the story behind her. She’s a monster but she’s not hostile at all, she doesn’t even really attack. She just wants to see Snowy, that’s it. Always the saddest one too

I absolutely love this animatic. The colours blend in perfectly and your style is adorable. Also, I feel really bad for Snowdrake's mother... the whole amalgamation thing is just really saddening.. ;-;

A really smart decision in using music from "Made in Abyss"! Both tracks really add to the overall creepiness and a little bit of the heart-wrenching aspect of it all!

More than likely, the actual process was most likely alphas giving a small dose of determination to her, but with the initial revival, she slowly started to melt over a course of somewhere from a couple days to weeks, and so alphas gave her more determination to keep her alive, witch worked, but made them melt faster, and so she gave her more, and more to keep her alive, but ultimately dissolving her, and as a last resort tried to fuse her with the vegitoids, causing her to have a more symmetrical appearance, instead of them being placed randomly if they where actually dyeing like shown in the video.

Crystal's body simply couldn't handle the raw determination. A trait shared by all monsters. The goop her body melted into is only partially recognisable. In her words...
"it's... so cold..."
