After 10 years, I've decided to build a new (high-end) computer in the upcoming months. Therefore I also need to upgrade my PC peripherals. After comparing lots of products from different manufacturers, this one has convinced me. It's not cheap but it has all the specs I've been looking out for: UHD resolution (3840x2160), G-sync compatibility, 144 Hz., 2.1 HDMI, 3.2 USB-C and nano IPS. Furthermore it features AmbiGlow which is an added bonus for me because I'm already used to it due to my Philips-TV with AmbiLight. I ordered the 27''-version this weekend because it has better high dynamic range (HDR 600) than its bigger sibling :)

HDR400? I test same Video (4k HDR Testvideo from Youtube) from my iPhone and this Monitor. Result? That Momentum is very brighter than iPhone 13 Pro Max. HDR 400 really? Im not sure... look like HDR1000😐

This monitor and the service is one big misunderstanding. After more than a year, the problem of switching dp to usb-c is still not solved
The service recommends to update drivers and bios and several times I said I was using mbp connect to usb-c. Then they sent me replacement where the image is cleary pumping
They wasting my time and their money and there's no effect as engeeners are just not notified. SmartControl is quite poor comparing to eizo or dell soft, no way to set shortcut to switch the input. Bought it as it was perfect on paper. Paid $1000

I have a big issue with my Philips 279m1rv - Momentum.

I have an Mac book m1max and use the Momentum as gaming monitor with ps5 and my Mac book as editing monitor!

I connect it with the usb c cable- but I don’t know how I use both rightly ?
I can’t wake up the Mac book when he sleeps - do you have an idea to solve this problem?

Give me an way to awake the Mac and go sleep - but with the monitor turns off too! Thx
