I visited the Woodlands in 2022 for my birthday weekend. My bestie and her husband live in Spring. I fell in love with the Woodlands because I’m a native of rural East Texas (Piney Woods). It was like home but with a high end urban flair.

Yes the lack of culture. Still it's such a beautiful place.

Be careful touting trees. Hurricanes & recent storms & high winds have blown down trees on a relative's home. They've had a lot of damage from tall trees partially destroying the structure. In the latest, the neighbor's trees blew over from their yard onto my family member's home next door. & guess who's insurance is covering the damage – not the neighbor's even tho their trees caused all the damage.
