By far the most significant difference between these two is that the Pajero is monocoque / independent suspension construction while the Prado has a traditional ladder chassis. Each build has its fans, but the Pajero's is unique in this segment (the new Discovery does not count). That is the one true legacy of Mitsu's Dakar history, and they have proven that it works.

I've been in a Pajero montero and the land cruiser prado they both look Beautiful but the Pajero has a lot of power

Mitsubishi used to make amazing Pajero’s
Rememver the Pajero Evolution from 1998
Amazing offroad cars especially the manual pretty torquey
Muysubishi all the way

Relibilty and Spec, they are close to each other but Prado is 25% more expensive.

So it's no brianer what to pick. Sadly Mitsubishi doesn't have great costumer service in most countries.

Very evenly matched vehicles! Can get newer model Mits for same money as older model Prado! Tough call on a budget!

I like the Prado, but pajero has more power

pajero is more better than prado and prado is just 2000kg not 2400kg.

Pajero's major advantage is Super Select transmission allowing AWD ride on bad road. It is worse in any other sense. But it is really a critical advantage if you need it.

Prado. Permanent 4WD, little bit bigger, solid rear axle, best wheel travel, more comfortable, 130 liters fuel tank including 63 sub-tank, 4.0 v6 petrol engine is 200kw and 380 nm . But the price!

Prado was not so popular when Pajeeero was massively popular in the 1980s and 90s but in the recent decades Mitsubishi struggled with their reliability and reputation on the other hand hats off to Toyota to produce world-class reliability vehicles, however Prados are pricey
