The positive outcome of Trump's presidency, perhaps the only one, is teaching American people how precious the values of democracy and separation of governmental jurisdictions for three executive branches are.

In the post-Trump era, there will be a nonpartisan need for all Americans to work together in order to repair the damage that has been done to our country. It won't matter how far left or right your personal politics are. WE have a country of which we are proud. WE have a Constitution that has done a remarkable job for us so far, and it can be amended if we decide to do so. WE have a history that includes both good and bad, but has some consistent common threads that WE as a people have come to embrace. As we reestablish America as a civilized society, perhaps THEN we can begin to converse again in a partisan manner.

Bernie Sanders. Say his name. That’s the name you were looking for pal. I’d take Sanders-Warren 2020 over Biden anything ever🤷‍♂️

I just realized that it is completely ok for 3 men to talk about women's political participation and take most of the air time. I just love watching them suddenly realize they are all men, and what is the subject. I also like to imagine Mika fuming in the background :-)

With the humiliating defeat in the Pennsylvania's special election...45 is now heading towards a massive election defeat in 2020

Remember that 50% of all eligible voters did not vote in the last national election. They are the demographic that Dems need. It is beyond me that intelligent people in the US would not see that Trump is bad for our country. Abortion, guns and health care are big issues in this election. Even if young people are not thrilled with Biden{neither am I} I believe that they will get out and vote for him because of the disgust for Trump. The best candidate is not Biden and I believe we need to pick the best and smartest.

What my American friends need to realise is that Trump's actions will have long-lasting consequenses reaching far beyond his presidency. Us in Europe have - because of the trade war & Paris/Iran agreement - moved on from the US as an ally and primary business partner.
This, not out of spite, but out of necessity.

Wisconsin elected a full slate of Democrats to statewide office in 2018 and will likely be even more heavily tilted blue in 2020. On top of which the Trumpist party need to defend North Carolina, Georgia, Arizona, Florida, and Texas. Some are more in danger than others, but they will all require effort. Pennsylvania and Michigan are gone. The only reason that people say Wisconsin is in play is that if it isn't then you don't have a horse race to talk about as you ignore all of the issues that need to be decided by the voters in the next 14 months.

As the progressive media continuously points out, these guys continue to avoid talking about the massive popular appeal of Bernie Sanders. With his absolute moral purity and long history of fighting for the interests of the average American and the huge popularity of all his political priorities + the fact that he is so popular among the majority of all segments of the electorate, it's absurd to understand why they continue to do this. If the Young Turks are correct, it's because the mainstream media, like many mainstream Democrats, are in the pockets of the corporations.

Whatever you do, don't mention Bernie Sanders' name. That would be bad. Whatever happens, we don't want enthusiasm in the Democratic Party.

Nice how MSNBC skips right over #BernieSanders! As if he, not 2nd. Like as if Bernie doesn't have the biggest following out of everyone! Donald Trump included. They act as if Bernie not even in the race! WOW!
